We've heard from some of you who are experiencing an issue where files appear as:
File Not Available
This file has expired or was deleted by the user. But hey, every end is a new beginning — try uploading a new one!
immediately after uploading. We want to thank you for your patience and let you know that we're aware of the problem and are working hard to resolve it.
Our team has identified the root cause: our system is currently having trouble processing filenames that contain special characters or characters from languages like Chinese. When a filename includes these characters, it can prevent the file from being serve correctly on our servers, leading to the "file not available" error.
We're actively developing a solution to fully support these characters in the future. In the meantime, to ensure your files transfer smoothly, we recommend a simple workaround:
Please use standard English characters, numbers, and hyphens in your filenames.
For example, if you have a file named 我的文件.pdf, simply rename it to something like my-file.pdf before you upload it. This small change will allow your file to transfer and be accessible normally.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our service. We'll be sure to post an update as soon as this issue is fully resolved.
In the meantime, if you've already uploaded a file that shows 'File Not Available,' please use our contact form to let us know. We would be happy to help you resolve the issue by manually renaming the file.
Thank you for being a part of our community.
